H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark Denmark 2002-05-25 Due to CIK/FIA’s decision to let all karting sports, graduadly, transform into four-stroke engines it was, on behalf of Einspor MC Production, made possible to donate a Jørn Haase produced Corsa Racing Kart, equipped with one of Team Biland’s new SA 250 four-stroke engines, to He’s Royal Highness, Crown prince Frederik of Denmark. The donation, that took place in the yard of Christian the 8’ palæ, in the royal castle of Amalienborg in Copenhagen on the 10th of april, was supervised by chairman of the Danish Automobil Sports Union, C. C. Hansen, from Team Biland: sales and marketing director Philipp Messer, from Haase Italy, administrating director Jørn Haase and by administrating director Mikael Einspor. It was an obvoirs impressed Crown prince, who took the kart in sight, and asked many relevant questions mainly about the future of 4-stroke engines as well as others such as the Alfano Laptimer, that holds the record with more or less, all relevant data, concerning driving the kart on the track. The soft Bridgestone tyres, the full-polstered Tillet seat and the impressive merchandise collection, from XOPH, was also looked over and carefully discussed. The future of the kartsport was also an issue that was interesting H. R. H. the Crown prince a lot, and C. C. Hansen and undersigned, could explain, that a bülletin from CIK/FIA described the upgrading use of four-stroke engines, during the next four to five years, and a total ban of all two-stroke engines. So far, the Biland SA250 is the only engine available which fullfills the requirement of the CIK-FIA and is allowed to participate in Formula Super A in 2005.
